Mission

The mission of the Scotia Fire Department is to protect our community and residents by providing rapid response to fires, natural disasters, hazardous materials emergencies, specialized rescue and advanced medical life support.  We provide for the safety of our residents and maintain the quality of life in our community through fire prevention programs and code enforcement.  We proudly do this through our desire to serve, courage to act and ability to perform through a consistent state of readiness, training and superior customer service.

·         Develop an organization to effectively administer and manage the resources of the Department.

·         Develop a system for minimizing the impact of disasters and other emergencies on life and property.

·         Maintain the apparatus and all department equipment in excellent operating condition.
